I provide a supportive and empowering style to midwifery; I adopt a holistic approach bespoke to the individual and their own situation. It is so important to support someone not only with the physical aspects of pregnancy and birth, but with my specialist training and years of senior experience, I can also address the emotional and mental well-being of parents.
I am passionate about supporting you as you prepare for and navigate the transition into parenthood, whether it’s your first time or not. With only one in five women seeing the same midwife throughout their pregnancy, I offer you the continuity, time, and expertise you deserve.

“We are a professional couple who as first-time parents had a lot of questions and anxieties around giving birth and what to expect. We had completed virtual birthing classes online and whilst we feel these do hold a place for basic learning they are completed in a group and don’t offer you a personalised service or the chance to ask specific questions.
Using Louise was the best decision we made; she explained everything to us from what to expect during labour, how to cope with the initial phases of labour, different types of pain relief / options, birthing plans and the actual birth process demonstrating this by showing the anatomy of the pelvis and what to expect at each phase.
Louise talked us through everything, she discussed our anxieties as a couple involving both of us and finding ways to resolve any stresses together.
Louise helped us create a personalised birth plan ensuring we understood everything and helped us make choices which were specific to us and our birth but also ensured a safe and reassuring experience.
It’s so clear to see Louise’s passion and knowledge in this area and we would recommend her to every single parent expecting a baby whether that’s to learn or reduce anxieties. We felt educated and empowered to make the right choices for us after spending time with Louise.
If you’re thinking about contacting Louise, you won’t regret it.“

“Louise is truly incredible—she’s a highly knowledgeable midwife with years of experience. She always provides up-to-date, evidence-based information, maintaining a level of professionalism and positivity that’s unmatched.
I felt completely supported throughout my pregnancy. After a traumatic previous birth, I was uncertain how this pregnancy would unfold, especially with the high levels of anxiety and fear I was experiencing. Unfortunately, I didn’t meet the criteria for NHS mental health support, and I felt lost until a friend recommended Louise.
Louise provided me with simple yet effective tools to manage my anxiety, along with valuable tips that helped me approach my pregnancy one week at a time. The personalised care I received gave me the opportunity to ask questions and make informed decisions, which left me feeling empowered and more understanding of what happened during my previous birth.
She is truly amazing. My partner connected with her right away and felt completely at ease asking questions he had been hesitant to ask anyone else. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone; she played a huge role in making our birth a truly positive experience.”
